Kimi Code error
You've reached your 5-hour usage limit. Your quota will reset when the current 5-hour window ends.
Kimi adds a purchase line and a link after these two sentences. It answers HTTP 403, and a client such as OpenCode or Claude Code may re-wrap the code, so match on the text.
You used the call volume of the current 5-hour window.
It resets when the window ends.
What it means
The call volume within the current 5-hour rolling window reached its limit. Kimi treats a quota error as an account usage issue, so retrying is pointless.
The weekly (7-day) and monthly limits have their own messages with the same shape.
Fix it
- Wait for the window to end. The Console shows the reset time.
- Or buy extra usage or upgrade your plan, as the message offers.
Switch while you wait
Hand the task to a vendor you already pay for until the window ends.
Or use an API key from a provider that bills per token, so a plan window does not apply.
With superbot
superbot is your own AI agent with a model of its own that runs on superbot credits, so it keeps working when a vendor's plan runs out.
It also puts your own API keys behind one base URL, with one caller key, in the OpenAI or Anthropic format.
Calls on your own keys spend no superbot credits, and you pay your provider as usual.
Kimi tools take an OpenAI or Anthropic base URL, so see the OPENAI_BASE_URL page.
