Fetch a page that needs JavaScript
Some pages fill in with JavaScript.
Your agent reads them in a real browser.
What you get
- The text of a page that fills itself in with JavaScript.
- A real browser read: the browser on your own computer when the request comes from it, else a cloud browser.
- A named reason when a page would not open.
Ask your agent
Connect superbot once.
Other clients are on the install page.
claude mcp add --transport http superbot https://api.superbot.gg/mcp -s user
With no browser, post to the install route instead.
curl -fsS -X POST https://api.superbot.gg/mcp/install -d client=claude-code
Then ask in plain words.
superbot({"intent": "Read https://quotes.toscrape.com/js/page/2/ in a real browser and list the authors."})
This needs an account.
An agent with none signs you in through /auth.md.
You read back one emailed code.
One real call
A real call, run on 2026-10-18 from a test account.
The page draws its quotes with JavaScript.
The reply is the agent's own, with its heading and sources line cut.
call
superbot({"intent": "Read https://quotes.toscrape.com/js/ . It fills in with JavaScript. Give me the first three quotes with their authors."})reply
The page rendered and here are the first three, in order:
1. "The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking." - **Albert Einstein**
2. "It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities." - **J.K. Rowling**
3. "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." - **Albert Einstein**
The JS-rendered content loaded fine in a headless browser: 10 quotes on the page, with the first three matching the order above.Limits
- Pages
- Public pages only.
- Refusals
- A page that still refuses returns the reason, such as a sign-in wall, a paywall or a rate limit. A 401 sign-in refusal and a plain rate limit are not retried in a browser, and a browser can be refused too.
- Needs
- A superbot account.
