superbot in n8n
Add the superbot node to a workflow.
Your own agent answers inside it.
What it does
- Message starts a conversation and returns the answer, a session id and a request id.
- Continue conversation carries on a session by its Session ID.
- With no package, an HTTP Request node after a Chat Trigger reaches the same agent. n8n Cloud uses this route.
Connect it
- In n8n open Settings, then Community nodes, then Install, and enter
n8n-nodes-superbot. Accept the community-code prompt. The package is on npm. - On the API keys card of your superbot account, make a caller key with the
gateway:invokescope. - In n8n add a Superbot API credential. Leave the Base URL as it comes, paste the key and press Test.
- Add the Superbot node and choose Message.
On n8n Cloud, which installs only verified community nodes, use the HTTP Request route instead.
POST <Base URL>/chat/completions
Authorization: Bearer sbc_...
x-superbot-mode: agent
{"model": "superbot", "messages": [{"role": "user", "content": "..."}], "stream": false}
Set the node's timeout high. An agent turn can run for minutes.

Permissions and limits
- Status
- A community node on npm. n8n's verified listing is in review.
- Needs
- A superbot account and a caller key with the gateway:invoke scope, made on the account page. The node holds the key in a Superbot API credential.
- Permissions
- The key holds only the scope you gave it. The credential test names a missing scope.
- Limits
- n8n Cloud installs only verified community nodes, so it uses the HTTP Request route until the node is verified.
